Health Guarantee & Return Policy

Your puppy’s health is our highest priority. Every German Shepherd puppy we place is raised with exceptional care, receives professional veterinary attention, and is backed by our comprehensive health guarantee for your peace of mind.

Veterinary Health Examination

Before leaving for their forever home, every puppy undergoes a thorough examination by a licensed veterinarian.

This examination includes:

  • Complete physical examination

  • Overall health assessment

  • Heart and lung evaluation

  • Weight and growth assessment

  • Verification of vaccination schedule

  • Deworming and parasite prevention

  • Confirmation that the puppy is healthy and fit to travel

Only puppies that pass this examination are approved to join their new families.

Health Certificate

Each puppy is accompanied by an official Veterinary Health Certificate confirming they have been examined by a licensed veterinarian and are healthy enough for travel and placement.

You’ll also receive:

  • Vaccination Record

  • Deworming Record

  • Health Certificate

  • Feeding Instructions

  • Puppy Care Guide

  • AKC Registration Papers (when applicable)

Genetic Health Guarantee

We carefully select our breeding dogs from healthy bloodlines and stand behind every puppy we produce.

Our Health Guarantee covers hereditary genetic conditions, including:

  • Hip Dysplasia

  • Elbow Dysplasia

  • Degenerative Myelopathy (DM)

Should a veterinarian diagnose one of these hereditary conditions during the guarantee period, we will review all supporting veterinary documentation and work with you toward a fair resolution in accordance with our health guarantee agreement.

Vaccinations & Preventative Care

Before going home, every puppy receives:

  • Age-appropriate vaccinations

  • Routine deworming

  • Parasite prevention

  • Regular wellness examinations

Complete medical records will be provided so your veterinarian can continue your puppy’s healthcare without interruption.

New Owner Veterinary Examination

For your puppy’s continued health and to maintain the terms of our health guarantee, we ask that every new owner schedule a complete veterinary examination within 48–72 hours after receiving their puppy.

This initial examination allows your veterinarian to:

  • Confirm your puppy’s health

  • Establish future vaccination schedules

  • Discuss nutrition and preventative care

  • Begin your puppy’s lifelong medical record

Lifetime Breeder Support

Our commitment continues long after your puppy arrives home.

We’re always available to assist with questions regarding:

  • Nutrition

  • House training

  • Crate training

  • Socialization

  • Obedience training

  • Exercise

  • General health and wellness

Return Policy

Our goal is for every puppy to remain with their forever family. However, if unforeseen circumstances arise and you are no longer able to care for your German Shepherd, we encourage you to contact us immediately.

We will gladly discuss available options and work with you to ensure the puppy’s continued safety and well-being. Depending on the situation and the terms of our purchase agreement, we may assist with returning or rehoming the puppy.

Please do not surrender your puppy to a shelter or rescue organization without contacting us first.

Important Information

To keep your puppy healthy and maintain the health guarantee, owners should:

  • Schedule regular veterinary checkups

  • Keep vaccinations current

  • Maintain parasite prevention

  • Feed a high-quality diet

  • Provide proper exercise and training

  • Offer a safe, loving home environment

Our health guarantee does not cover illnesses, injuries, or medical conditions resulting from neglect, accidents, improper nutrition, abuse, or failure to follow recommended veterinary care.
